COTTER ‘BOIL NOTICE’ BY DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH

UPDATE: FRIDAY MORNING 8:00 AM – DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH BOIL WATER NOTICE #4663 dated 1-13-2022.

The Arkansas Department of Health confirmed the ‘Boil Water’ Notice issued by Justin Morrow for the Entire Cotter Water System on January 13, 2022. Under the ‘Boil Order’ Notice, all affected customers are advised that the water may be unsafe for human consumption, and water used for drinking or food preparations must be boiled briskly for one (1) minute prior to use. All ice cubes should be discarded, and only boiled water used for making ice.

Mayor Caradine anticipates that the samples will be tested and reviewed by the Department of Health on Wednesday, January 19 or on Thursday, January 20, 2022.
