Proposed New Ward Boundaries Base on 2020 Census
On December 16th at the next City Coundil meeting, the City Council of the City of Cotter, State of Arkansas will consider ammending the Ward boundaries (1, 2, and 3) equally based on the 2020 Census.
Relighting Cotter Bridge
You are invited to attend the relighting of the Cotter Bridge on Wednesday night December 1, 2021. The Ceremony starts at 5:30 at the Pavilion in Big Spring Park. The arches on the Cotter Bridge was originally lit in December 1997 on the downstream side. After the bridge renovation in 2003, the lights on the Arches were turned-on in December 2004 on both sides of the bridge. The lights were turned-off in the Spring of 2011, caused by a wind storm . Ten years later, the Cotter R. M. Ruthven Bridge will be re-lite once again on December 1, 2021. Hope you can attend.
