2021 Annual Drinking Water Quality Report

Attached is the City of Cotter’s Annual Drinking Water Quality Report for posting as required by the Arkansas Department of Health. The Health Department monitors our water quality according to Federal and State Laws. The table shows the results of our monitoring for the period of January 1st to December 31st, 2021. There were not any violations noted in the report.

The city of Cotter receives denial letter from ARDOT for Traffic Light

On February 4, 2022, the City of Cotter received a letter from the Arkansas Department of Transportation in response to the City’s request on August 26, 2021, for an updated cost estimate for a Traffic Light at the intersection of Highway 62/412 and 62B/Denton Ferry Road. An operational warrants analysis was conducted and based on the results of the review, traffic volumes at the subject intersection are insufficient to meet the requirement for a traffic light as outlined in the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices. Therefore, the City of Cotter’s request for a traffic light has been denied
